Pumpkin picking at Alstede's Farm was tons of fun. Of course I made everyone arrive before 9am so we could be first on line for everything. They all thought I was crazy until they saw the crowds roll in by 9:30. Joseph couldn't wait to get on the hayride...because it was attached to the tractor! The scenery was beautiful as we rode back to the pumpkin patch. Joseph was so excited to see all of the pumpkins when we got off the hayride. That lasted about 5 minutes and then all he wanted was to see the tractor again. We managed to hold his attention long enough to get 3 nice pumpkins, then it was back to the hayride. Joseph made sure he sat at the FRONT of the ride on the way back so he got the best view of the tractor that was pulling us. When we got back to the front of the farm we went for a wagon ride, saw some of the animals and then headed out to the Chester Diner for a quick bite. It was a really nice, family morning...we know Gram and Pop enjoyed it too!
