Kicking Off Christmas!!!

Every single year we book our month of December so solid, we end up with some half hearted, last minute visit with Santa and a Christmas tree that "falls" to be decorated just in time for Christmas Eve.  Every year we are booked so solid we actually forget to do some of the things that you are really supposed to do for the holidays.   Needless to say, Mom has things totally under control this year.  In fact, this year's December calendar has been mapped out and hanging on the refrigerator since just before Thanksgiving.  We have left room for Santa.  We have left room for a tree.  We are even hoping we have left room for a special little Christmas surprise for the boys.  Fingers crossed...we need the weather...we need our health...
we'll keep you posted!

Elvis, Ice, and Santa!

And performance of the day goes to....Elvis....I mean JOSEPH!!!
We kicked off Christmas on Saturday morning watching Joseph sing and dance with his class at their holiday performance.  It was absolutely adorable(and it was on our calendar!)As always, our not so shy guy was super excited to be up on stage and put on quite a show for all of us.  Mom, Dad and Thomas along with all of the Grandparents cheered and clapped and waved to him as he moved and grooved with his fellow  Elvis impersonators.

Sunday's Mission:  Find Santa
Knock, knock.  Anybody home?
Who's that knocking at my door?
"Santa!  It's me, Joseph...and I really want that Hess helicopter with the truck in it!"

Santa and the Bruno Family on the Green 2012

And a little entertainment while we waited from this ice sculptor!  How cool, right in front of our eyes!

What a great first weekend, on the countdown to Christmas.  We have a sneaky suspicion this Christmas is just going to be a total blast!  Joseph is especially excited, and if he is excited Thomas is right there with him.
