Time certainly hasn't been on our side lately. It is always something...heading back to work...the kids getting sick...Hurricane Sandy...the holiday season approaching. Of course there are the day to day things too...packing lunches, racing to hair cut appointments and doctor appointments, and spontaneous, but necessary, trips to Shop Rite. Busy, busy, busy! In all of the "business" I haven't had time to sit and write, but we certainly have some really great moments to share.
We had one last really great trip to the beach.
Our first ever visit to Sandy Hook(or as Joseph likes to call it "the Hook"). It was quite possibly the most beautiful beach day we had the whole entire summer. We can't wait to go back next summer!
We had one very happy pizza eating, jets hat wearing Joseph.
We had one very happy cheez doodle eating, smiley faced Thomas.
We took one last trip to the Turtle Back Zoo. What a beautiful sunny day it was!
We had some fun apple picking.
We had some fun pumpkin picking.
We went to Fall Fest decked out as a super hero team of Batman and Robin....
little Robin was both costume and camera shy :(
We have had a blast playing in the leaves!
We got to sit in a real life fire truck...how exciting!
We have happily helped mow the lawn.
We have eaten some really yummy spaghetti and dressed up in some really silly outfits.
We have had a really busy few months but some really nice moments too. Mom is enjoying being back to work and the boys are enjoying being back to school. It's not so much fun being quite so busy all the time but we sure are trying to make the best of it. Soon enough it will be summer and we'll be back to day trips and sun. Can hardly wait!
