Swinging and Cereal

Jonathan is about to turn 6 months old...

we just can't believe how fast the time has gone and how big he has grown. 

Santa brought him this swing just a few weeks after he was born.  He spent a lot of hours in his baby swing- in fact, he slept in his baby swing for the first few months of his life.  Now that he's outgrown the baby swing and we're spending a lot more time outdoors, we've traded up to this bigger boy outdoor swing.  He will sit in it forever, gently swinging, enjoying the cool breeze in his hair and looking on as his brothers play nearby.  

Big brother, Joe, never wanders too far without stopping by to give little Jon some love.

Jonathan started eating dinner with his brothers too.  He had his first taste of rice cereal this week.  There was some spitting, a few wrinkled up noses, and a couple of gags.  He wouldn't look at the camera because he was so interested in what his brothers were eating.  He couldn't take his eyes off their dinner plates, the whole time wiggling his feet and making "mmmmm" noises.  Hopefully that means he'll be a good eater!
